In the heart of one of the most scenic neighbourhoods in Cagliari, close to the city harbour, in the cosy setting of an old house, we will explore the following musical programs:
• A journey into traditional Italian songs -from folk tradition to modern song writers
• From the 16th century to modern times – a guided journey through the places and history of chamber music
At the end of the concert we will learn a traditional song for 3/4 voices, a musical take-away for your heart and memory.

Boris Smocovich graduated with a Diploma in Traditional Music and in Music Therapy and works as a musician and music therapist in Cagliari and surroundings. Paola Tedde studied Singing and Singing Teaching. She complemented her artistic training with a degree in craniosacral therapy. She lives and works in Cagliari as a singer, a singing teacher, a vocal trainer for chamber and symphonic choirs and as a craniosacral therapist.
Together, Paola and Boris perform a repertoire of traditional and contemporary classical music.
Boris Smocovich born in 1963, after graduating from High School he obtains a Diploma in Traditional Music Composition at Conservatoire “Pierluigi da Palestrina” in Cagliari under the tutoring of M° Angelo Guaragna and M° Franco Oppo. At the same time he starts his studies to become an Orchestra Conductor under M° Filippo Caramazza, Adriano Martinolli and Sandro Sanna under which he graduates in 1996. Since September 1993 he has been the Conductor for Corale Polifonica Is Mirrionis – Cantores Mundi and since February 1994 for Pro Loco Dolianova Choir – Inkantos d’Olia.
In his career he has conducted many orchestra and choirs in over 350 concerts. From 1998 to 2007 he teaches Complementary Harmony, Music Theory and Solfeggio in Villacidro. In January 2008 he graduates with a 3 years Diploma in Music Therapy sponsored by ANFFAS in Cagliari and by the Italian Professional Association of Music Therapists (APIM). In December 2008 he is appointed Director of the following Music Schools: Villacidro, Collinas, Gonnosfandiga, Furtei, Segariu and Pabillonis. He also regularly works as a musician and as a music therapist.
Paola Tedde studied singing in Cagliari at the Pierluigi da Palestrina Conservatorium of Music, in Germany at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen/Duisburg and also functional singing with Cornelius Reid in New York and Richard Staab in Mannheim. She took a degree in Teaching and Music at the Higher Institute for Steiner Teaching in Witten/Annen. She completed her artistic training with a degree in cranio-sacral therapy at CCST, the College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy in London. After 22 years in Germany consisting of concert performances, teaching singing at various institutions (Urban Music Association Choir of Dusseldorf, Royal Academy of Music in London, Pierluigi da Palestrina Conservatorium of Music), polyphonic choirs, chamber choirs and intense musical training in Europe (Germany, Italy and the Netherlands) and Asia minor (Kyrgyzstan), she now lives and works in Cagliari as a singer, a singing teacher and a craniosacral therapist.
